Coleman Brother's 102nd Carnival

Still Here Until Saturday April 14th

The Coleman Brother's 102nd Carnival In will be in Middletown at The Palmer Field until April 14th. Coleman Brothers comes every year! It is fun for all kids! The Coleman Brother's Carnival is mainly geared to the younger kids, but there will lots of teenagers around all week partaking in the fun. There are rides and food that adults will also enjoy.

The carnival has been in our city since 1916. Many people joke about it as "the Rainmaker," because every year it seems to bring rain. Hopefully No Snow This Year! The weather forecast now says that the temperatures will be in the 70's for its last two days this weekend!

The family festival began in 1916 by Dick Coleman, a clothing store salesman who set up a secondhand, steam-powered merry-go-round under the Portland Bridge. Soon, Dick Coleman built up a bigger carnival with the help of his brothers, Tim and Tom, and has since passed through three generations of Colemans.
