Middletown's Community Garden For St. Vincent

Day of Caring Saturday, May 7th

Your Help Is Welcomed!!!
This year’s Day of Caring will be held on Saturday, May 7th from 9:00am – 2:00PM. You are welcome to bring friends and family members to help build additional raised bed gardens and plant. Please remember to bring water, sunscreen, bug spray and any additional necessities you may need through the day. Also be sure to dress accordingly and bring gloves if wanted. This year we will be adding two more beds the same way as we did last year when we started our new garden. You can see how it is done in the slideshow below:

Once the garden is in anyone interested in taking a day to water the garden and harvest the goods will be appreciated as well. The harvested foods will need to be delivered to the St. Vincent DePaul's Amazing Grace Food Pantry.

Want to learn more? Visit us this Sunday, May 17th in the Bill Fortain Memorial Hall at St. Pius from 8am to 1pm. The Hall is under the Church and can be entered from the lower parking lot on the left side of the church, 310 Westfield Drive Middletown.
