Congratulations to Larry McHugh On His Retirement

Congratulations to Larry McHugh on his retirement and his long, successful career. For 50 years, Coach McHugh has loomed large in Middletown, Middlesex County, and the State of Connecticut. He built his reputation on bringing people together and building teams that work together in the football, business, and educational fields.

Many of us have been influenced and benefited from his friendship and guidance.

As president of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce for nearly 40 years, Larry has provided outstanding leadership in bringing small and large businesses and non-profit organizations together for the benefit of all. He ensured that his leadership at the Chamber reflected the diversity of our communities.

To those who much is given, much is expected, and the Coach never let us down. If you really want to say thank you - do what Larry did his entire career - send him a note - tell him like he told so many of us who received them - You're the best - keep up the good work, and I'm so proud of you.

Also, Larry will still be on the sidelines providing all of us his guidance and wisdom.
