Connecticut Outlaws Win Firecracker Showcase Tournament
The 15U team is comprised of players from Middletown, Durham, Haddam, Killingworth, Old Saybrook and other area towns.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — The 15U Connecticut Outlaws baseball travel team, based at the Sportsplex on Newfield Street in Middletown, won the Firecracker Showcase Tournament at Brown University on July 4th.
The 15U Outlaws team, comprised of players from Middletown, Durham, Haddam, Killingworth, Old Saybrook and other towns, went 4-0 in Pool Play and emerged as the first seed out of 24 teams.
The Outlaws then won the semifinal game at the University of Rhode Island and the finale at Brown University, to go 6-0 over the course of the five-day tournament.

The Firecracker Tournament drew college coaches, and teams from all over the Northeast, including Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, New York, New Jersey, as well as Virginia and Ohio.
