Woman Fractured Legs In Middletown Crash: UPDATE

The woman was hospitalized via LifeStar and police are asking for information on a silver truck that was involved in the crash.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A woman fractured both of her legs in a rollover crash on I-91 South in Middletown on Wednesday morning, according to state police. The woman was taken to the hospital via LifeStar at about 11 a.m.

Police said the woman was driving her Jeep in the left lane when “at least one witness saw a silver truck merge from the center lane into the left lane causing the operator of the Jeep to cut left to avoid being hit by the truck.” The Jeep entered the grass shoulder to the left and rolled several times, according to police.

Troopers from Troop H and the DOT closed the left and center lanes down while LifeStar landed and eventually took the woman to Hartford Hospital, according to police.
