Cromwell Bimbo Bakery Outlet Shut Down
All Bimbo Bakery company outlets in Connecticut have closed, company officials said.

CROMWELL, CT — A bakery outlet that offered Cromwell and Middletown customers big discounts on brand name baked goods has closed.
The Cromwell Bimbo location at 207 Shunpike Road, along with the other two remaining Freihofer's/Bimbo bakery outlets in Connecticut — Naugatuck and Orange — were out of business Wednesday.
Bimbo Bakeries USA issued a statement about the Bimbo/Freihofer's outlet closings.

It read, "After careful analysis and consideration, we made the difficult decision to permanently close the outlet stores in Cromwell, Naugatuck, and Orange and redistribute product to other locations. We appreciate all of our associates who worked at this store and are taking steps to help ease them through this transition. Consumers can still enjoy their favorite baked goods, and can find them by using our product locator: https://www.bimbobakeriesusa.com/product-locator."
Brands under the Bimbo Bakeries USA banner include Bimbo, Freihofer's, Thomas, Sara Lee, Arnold, Entenmann's, Little Bites, Cheesecake Factory at Home, Ball Park Buns & Rolls, Bays English Muffins. Lender's Bagels, Beefsteak and Boboli.

The Orange Store was at 284 Bull Hill Lane. The Naugatuck store was at 1041 New haven Road. The store locator lists no remaining outlets in Connecticut. There are zero stores in Rhode Island Massachusetts and New York.
