Cromwell Grocery Store Will Close After 14 Years In Business: Reports
A Cromwell grocery store plans to close at the end of the month.
CROMWELL, CT — The Price Rite in Cromwell will close at the end of the month after 14 years in business, according to FOX 61. Price Rite will share possible job openings at other stores throughout the region for affected employees.
The grocery store is located on Berlin Road and serves customers from surrounding communities Middletown and Berlin as well.
An exact closing date has not been revealed. The store employs a total of 25 people, NBC CT reported.

The Wakefern Corporation, owner of Price Rite, said in a statement that it "appreciates the loyalty of its customers who have supported the store through the years and the dedicated team members who have worked hard to serve our community."
There are 2 Price Rite locations in Bridgeport, and one each in Hamden, West Hartford, New Britain, Windsor, Wethersfield, Danbury, and Torrington.
