Cromwell Sports-Themed Restaurant Closes Temporarily
A sports bar and restaurant near the Cromwell-Middletown line has closed for "improvements."
CROMWELL, CT — A sports bar and restaurant that has long been a fixture for patrons in Cromwell and Middletown has closed temporarily.
The close is also indefinite. Facebook posts announced the move on both Saturday and Sunday.
"We regret to inform you we will be closed as of Monday, July 1st, to make some changes at Chicago Sam's Cromwell. We will continue to post updates on Instagram and Facebook regarding a date to reopen. We can’t wait to see all of you when we are back," the post said.

Chicago Sam's is located at 51-14 Shunpike Road in Cromwell near the Middletown line.
The posts did not outline just what the improvements would be or when the restaurant would reopen again.
