9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. – ANNUAL HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIR at The Church of the Holy Trinity (381 Main St), featuring 40 Crafters; Gift Baskets; Cookie Walk; Kids Area, including Face Painting & Crafts; VT Cheese & Maple Syrup; Handiwork; Baked Goods; Christmas Ornaments; Amaryllis Bulbs; Silent & Teacup Auction, Lunch, and so much more!   • 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Volunteers from the Disabled American Veterans – Middletown Chapter #7 will be staffing the POPCORN & HOT PRETZELS stand in front of the Chamber and HOLIDAY MUSICwill be provided by Harvest Woods Audio
  • 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – THE FUN TRAIN will offer FREE RIDES on the sidewalk around the downtown throughout the day!

  • 10:00 a.m.. – 2:00 p.m. – Sense-Able Solutions INDOOR WINTER WONDERLAND (100 Riverview Center – Lower Level) – Warm up with hot cocoa and cookies and enjoy some sensory playtime in our Winter Wonderland with crafts, games and other fun activities for kids and their families!   • 10:00 a.m – 2:00 p.m. – FREE RIDES for children & adults on two mechanical animals – RUDOLPH, the Red-Nosed Reindeer & SNO-CAT, The Siberian Snow Tiger…bring your camera!
  • 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Webster Bank’s 10th Annual Giving Tree (363 Main St) will benefit the Food Pantry. On Saturdays, donations may be brought to Middlesex Chamber.
  • 11:30 a.m. – 12 noon – HOLIDAY STORY TIME – JUNIE B. JONES will be at Vinnie’s Jump & Jive (424 Main St.), where Police Chief Bill McKenna will read stories. At the end of the reading, there will be books for sale, and a “Book Signing” by Junie B. Jones…bring your camera!
  • 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE, Illuminating Unity: Shining a Light on Peace, hosted by Artists for World Peace at the deKoven House Community Room (27 Washington St.) – Come and see what we have accomplished this year and what we are working on for the future. During our closing ceremony, we will be lighting up the outdoor area with luminaries that have messages of peace, love and unity, accompanied by music and drumming! Schedule of events:
  • 1:30 pm to 3 pm – Interfaith Dialogue on Peace
  • 3:15 pm to 4 pm – Check out Artists for World Peace’s successful humanitarian projects from 2016
  • 1 pm to 5 pm – Holiday marketplace, food, and drinks
  • 5 pm to 6 pm – Music, drumming, lighting of luminaries
