The National Association for Community Health Centers and its members are still nervously waiting for Congress to pass broad, increased health center funding for 2024. This is the important issue that new NACHC CEO Dr. Kyu Rhee was dealing with when he appeared on “Conversations on Health Care” and it remains his top priority. Dr. Rhee explained to hosts Mark Masselli and Margaret Flinter the bipartisan support the community health center movement receives. He also discussed workforce needs, value-based care and how centers are ready for the next pandemic, if and when it could occur.
