Downed Wires Fall On School Bus In Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Downed power lines fell on a school bus with students on board Wednesday morning in Middletown, according to multiple reports.

FOX 61 reports six students were on board the bus that was heading to Middletown High School when the power lines came down in the area of Atkins Street and Saw Mill Road.

Crews from Eversource quickly responded and disconnected the power, according to FOX 61.

The Middletown Press reported an ambulance crew responded to the scene and there were no injuries and the bus wasn’t damaged.
