The Middletown Racial Justice Community

Sunday, February 24th

The Middletown Racial Justice Community will have a 90 minute forum on Environmental Racism on Sunday, February 24 from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm at Mystic Congregational Church.

Come to learn and discuss how communities of color are disproportionately impacted by pollution, toxic chemicals, and climate change - and the moral and theological basis for responding to this injustice. Refreshments will be served.

Our keynote speaker is Sharon Lewis, Executive Director for the CT Coalition for Environmental Justice. Ms. Lewis will be joined by Julie Garay, Youth Coordinator for FRESH New London, and Jameelah Muhammad, Community Organizer for the Sierra Club.
