The CT Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), the Connecticut Marine Trades Association (CMTA), the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and the US Power Squadrons are teaming up to bring residents an educational event on paddling safety.
The 7th annual Paddle Smart Event on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Hartford Convention Center. The FREE Paddle Smart Event is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Connecticut Convention Center (Ballroom level).
The event is appropriate for the entire family. In fact, family participation is encouraged at this important workshop on safe paddling.
