Mike Casey Sextet Presents a Tribute to Charles Mingus Live @ Titanium!

Due to a scheduling conflict our weekly Friday jazz series is being moved to Sunday afternoon and will be back on Fridays starting May 18th. 
On Sunday May 13th come check out the Mike Casey Sextet! They will be performing a tribute concert to Charles Mingus, featuring many brand new arrangements written by Mike!

More Info about Mike: Jazz saxophonist Mike Casey, from Storrs, Connecticut, is currently a Jazz Studies student at the acclaimed Hartt School/Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz (University of Hartford) as well as a recent graduate of the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts. Mike has studied with some of Connecticut’s best jazz talent including: Steve Davis, Paul Brown, Kris Allen, Doug Maher, Ken Fischer, Bob DePalma, Matt DeChamplain, Lummie Spann, and Chris Casey. As a student of jazz, Mike is proficient on tenor saxophone as well as alto saxophone, his primary instrument. Mike has been heard playing at local venues across Connecticut (ie Black Eyed Sallys, Sangria Bar N Grill, J Restaurant, The Hartford Club) as well as the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston. Additionally he has played at notable music festivals, such as Boston's Greenfest & the New England Autumn Fest.
