"Faith Sharing" Christian radio station phone-a-thon on October 6-7

Non-commercial, listener-supported station has been on the air 24/7 since October of 1969.

WIHS 104.9 FM, a commercial-free, listener-supported, non-profit Christian radio station based at 1933 South Main Street, will hold its two-day, on-the-air "Faith Sharing" phone-a-thon fundraiser on Friday, October 6 from 6 am to 8 pm, and on Saturday, October 7 from 8 am to 6 pm. During Faith Sharing, listeners are encouraged to call the station "live" to make pledges and donations for financial support for the peak 4th quarter holiday season and into 2024.

Operated by Connecticut Radio Fellowship, the call letters W-I-H-S stand for We’re In His Service. Staffed by 23 full- and part-time employees, the “live and local” station has provided listeners with hope and encouragement through a mix of preaching, teaching, interviews, news and music 24/7 since October of 1969.
