FedEx Adding 1,000 Positions In Middletown For Holiday Season

MIDDLETOWN, CT — FedEx is expected to hire 1,000 people in Middletown to help the holidays arrive this year, the company announced on Friday. Overall, FedEx plans to add more than 55,000 seasonal positions throughout its network. The local openings include package handlers and other support positions.

The majority of these workers will be added as seasonal package handlers at FedEx Ground facilities, but there will be other opportunities during the holiday season and throughout the year, officials said. To sign up for Middletown breaking news alerts and more, click here.
