Fight Over Tupperware Lid in Middletown Leads to Charges: PD
Tupperware was returned without a lid and things got out of control from there, police said.
MIDDLETOWN, CT—A fight over a Tupperware lid led to police being called and a summons being issued, according to police.
Police went to a Washington Street address Nov. 17 and Alice McGriff, 44, said that her neighbor was upset that she returned Tupperware without a lid.
The neighbor gave a statement to police that said McGriff went to return the item, but without the lid. The neighbor refused to take it and McGriff later came to the apartment and hit her in the face. McGriff also hit her head into the wall.

McGriff was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
