Former Police Chief's Car Smashed By Uprooted Tree: Report
She was only 30 feet away when the tree toppled onto her car in Middletown.
MIDDLETOWN, CT — Former Middletown Police Chief Lynn Baldoni's car was damaged after strong winds uprooted a tree on Crescent Street.
Baldoni was standing about 30 feet away from her vehicle Monday when the wind sent the tree out of the ground and made it rain sideways, according to the Middletown Press.
She said she considers herself fortunate to walk away from the incident unscathed.
