FREE Pitching Clinic for Girls

Thursday August 13th

On Thursday August 13 from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Pat Kidney Field will be FREE Pitching Clinic for Girls Ages 11 -16 To benefit The Lou Petruzzello Memorial Scholarship

Coaches Jill Daley and Sherry Faircloth
Teaching Mechanics increases control and will help develop confidence. Increasing velocity and spin increases success. Instruction begins with the player and her willingness to “let it fly,” practice perfect, and commit to learning fix-it strategies.

  • Learning Mechanics
  • Develop accuracy/control
  • Location development/control Conditioning
  • Speed throws Windup techniques
  • Wall drills Power position drills
  • Long throws Spin techniques
  • Weighted ball drills Grip strengthening

Clinic will be 1.5 hours. Bring plenty of water, a bat, 3 or more softballs, a catcher, or an adult that is capable of catching with a face mask, and hand sanitizer:
Covid-19 health practices will be in place to protect the athletes.

You and your catcher must be preregistered at middletownct.gov/recreation Reg # 331103
BE SURE TO REGISTER IN THE RIGHT LEVEL and provide us with a valid email.
Beginner 5:1 (Player coach ratio) Average 3:1 (Player coach ratio) OR Advanced 2:1 (Player coach ratio)
The camp is free but we are asking participants make a donation to the Lou Petruzzello Memorial Scholarship Fund. All checks can be given to Coach Jill.
