Free Veterans Day History Presentation: "Connecticut Industries Unite for World War II Victory"

Join us at the The Greater Middletown Military Museum, Inc. (200 Walnut Grove Rd, Middletown) this Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 7:00 PM for a free Veterans Day presentation! The Middlesex County Historical Society and The Greater Middletown Military Museum, Inc. are delighted to co-host this book talk by Sharon L. Cohen, author of Connecticut Industries Unite for World War II Victory.

When WWII was declared, the United States entered into two vital wars: The troops battling in the European and Pacific Theaters and the industries combating on the Home Front. Both needed to be won for victory.

Come learn about how Connecticut companies of all sizes and industries contributed to the war effort. Cohen will focus especially on the Russell Company of Middletown.
