This Middletown music event brings together the melodies of singer/songwriter Alli Millstein and the funk/rock fusion sound of Spaceman Dan.

Spaceman Dan: Funk Rock Fusion

Spaceman Dan is a funk jazz rock and reggae band from Portland and Groton Connecticut. They play a mixture of original music and covers with an emphasis on modal harmony and extended instrumentals.

Tom is a multi-instrumental musician, primarily focused on guitar and vocals. Dan also is a multi- instrumentalist and composer who draws influence from traditional rock, blues, and folk to more obscure fusion, jazz, and world music.

A native of Hartford, Alli Millstein is a singer/songwriter who takes inspiration from the work of Dylan, Jenny Lewis and M.Ward to craft her compelling sound. Alli began her career playing in coffeehouses and pubs in the Hartford area before moving to NYC and playing in legendary venues including Kenny’s Castaways and The Bitter End. Alli now lives in New Paltz, New York where she plays with the well- known Hudson Valley band, The Pleasers while also wo rking on her Master’s Degree in Music Therapy.
