Guitarist Jeff Pevar Joins D.A. Foster and the Shaboo All-Stars

OLD SAYBROOK, CT - The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center welcomes back D.A. Foster and the Shaboo All-Stars with special guest Jeff Pevar on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 8:00 PM.

David “D.A.” Foster loves singing the blues the most of all the genres of music he has covered as it is the foundation for all American popular music. D.A. says, "the blues had a baby and they called it rock and roll," a quote he likes to borrow from Muddy Waters. He cut his teeth on this style of music, being one of the owners of the legendary nightclub the Shaboo Inn from 1971 to 1982, and he’s kept busy ever since.

Jeff Pevar is a guitarist, composer, producer, performer and multi-instrumentalist who has brought his unique style on stage and in the studio to such world renowned artists as Ray Charles, Bette Midler, Joe Cocker, James Taylor, Rickie Lee Jones, and Laura Nyro, among others. Jeff is a sought after musician who composes movie scores, music for television shows and advertisements, in addition to composing original music for his own releases. Jeff has co-written many songs that have appeared on recordings of David Crosby, Graham Nash, and other artists.
