Hartford Marathon Town Champs From Middlesex/New London Counties

HARTFORD, CT — The 25th running of the Eversource Hartford Marathon is in the books, as more than 10,000 competitors forsake the Saturday morning rain to participate in the marathon, half marathon, 5K and team relay races.

The overall marathon champion was David Sinclair, 26, of Peru, Vt., who covered the 26.2 mile course in 2 hours, 18 minutes, 23 seconds. The women's overall winner was Rachel Schilkowsky, 26, of Providence, R.I., in a time of 2:41:03.

Half marathon champions were 2016 Olympian Donn Cabral, 28, of Hartford, formerly of Glastonbury, and Annmarie Tuxbury, 24, of New Hartford, while winners of the 5K race were Ben Groleau,. 25, of Northampton, Mass. and Elizabeth Fengler, 22, of Wallingford. Top relay team was the Cobra Kai Racers of Seymour.
