Internet Provider Starts Work On New Fiber System In Middletown
GoNetspeed has begun work on a fiber internet system in Middletown.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A new internet provider is entering the Middletown market.
GoNetspeed Tuesday announced that construction has begun to bring its 100 percent fiber internet to the city. It's the latest territory for GoNetspeed’s multi-gigabit fiber internet system.
GoNetspeed’s "fully-funded $2.4 million investment" is designed to equip more than 3,000 homes and businesses with access to high-speed internet of up to two gigabits.
The first customers are expected to be connected by October of 2024. More on the network is available at gonetspeed.com.

"Today, Middletown is one step closer to gaining access to another provider option. With construction having officially commenced, Middletown will soon experience the transformative impact of high-speed fiber internet," GoNetspeed COO Tom Perrone said. "As we begin our work, another Connecticut community will benefit from increased competition, faster speeds, improved customer service, and better pricing. We look forward to what lies ahead for Middletown."
GoNetspeed expects the project to be fully complete by winter of 2024.
