Juvenile Charged With Attempted Murder In Middletown Stabbing: Police
Police responded to a report of a street fight involving 8-10 males. The victim is in critical condition, according to police.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A juvenile has been charged with attempted murder in connection to the stabbing of an adult male during a large fight on Sunday evening, according to police.
Middletown Police responded to a fight-in-progress in the 100-block of Pearl Street at about 6:30 p.m. on March 19 on the report that eight to 10 males were fighting in the roadway, according to Lt. Heather Desmond.
Desmond said that arriving officers found an adult male with a stab wound to his chest. The victim was transported to Hartford Hospital for treatment.

The victim is listed in critical condition, according to Desmond.
Police arrested the juvenile suspect, whose name isn’t being released, on Tuesday.

The juvenile was charged with attempt to commit murder, first-degree assault, attempt to commit first-degree assault, two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment and one count each of first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree breach of peace.
