Last Call for Lemon Ice! Vecchitto's Closing for Season

Middletown Patch stopped by this evening, spurred on by two 9-year-olds who insisted it could possibly still be open.

"Just check, Dad! C'mon! If not, we're going to !"

To hush the nattering, we obliged — and darn it if the kids weren't right!

Saturday is indeed the last day of the season for Vecchitto's, so stop by tomorrow after 12:30 p.m. for a little cup of heaven. They have the classics: watermelon, lemon, lemon-lime, cherry; and even grape this evening, a flavor about as rare as banana at Vecchitto's.
