The Institute for Municipal and Regional Policy (IMRP) at Central Connecticut State University held a movie screening and community conversations of Life on Parole at the Russell Library in the Hubbard Room.
The panel was led by Richard Frieder of IMRP and a panel of special guests. The video is about the effort to change the way parole works in Connecticut, and reduce the number of people returning to prison. The film follows four former inmates as they try to find work, stay sober and keep out of trouble while navigating their first year on parole.
