Local dentists honored

Opportunity Knocks and Mayor Drew recognize dentists for early care for children

Opportunity Knocks, along with Middletown Mayor Dan Drew, recognized a group of local dentists in a special ceremony on February 23, 2016.

The group was honored, with a special proclamation from Mayor Drew, for their commitment to helping children, as young as one year of age, receive early, preventive oral health care.

Opportunity Knocks is a community collaborative that focuses on the health and welfare of young children before they enter Kindergarten. Part of this focus is promoting the importance of well baby dental visits and establishing a dental “home” for children at an early age.
