Missing Middletown Man Found Safe: Police
A Silver Alert had been issued for the man, who had been missing since Wednesday.
UPDATE: David Reich has been found safe, police said in an update Thursday afternoon.
"UPDATE- with the help of the public, Mr. Reich has been LOCATED and is SAFE," police wrote in a post on Facebook. "We want to thank everyone who shared the previous posts, kinds words, and show of support for Mr Reich. Middletown knows how to come together for one another!!!"
(Original post) MIDDLETOWN, CT — Police are continuing to search for a Middletown man who has been missing since Wednesday.

In an update Thursday afternoon, police said they are urging residents to check their home surveillance/Ring doorbells for any possible footage of David Reich from Wednesday.
Reich, 62, is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. He was last seen in the area of Dobson Circle in Middletown.

Police said he is wearing an olive-green jacket, a white/gray hat, jeans, gray sneakers, and work gloves. He suffers from memory loss, according to police.
Reich is known to frequent East Main Street, in the area of Stop & Shop, River Road, Millers Pond areas, according to police.
