Man Arrested In Connection With Shooting In Middletown: Police

The man was being held in lieu of a $1.5 million bond, according to police.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A Middletown man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that happened inside the Traverse Square housing complex on May 15, according to police.

Police had been searching for Nahkyn Durazzo, who was found and arrested on Wednesday, officials said.

Durazzo, 22, was charged with two counts of criminal attempt to commit first-degree assault, criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm, illegal discharge of a firearm, commission of a felony with a firearm and first-degree reckless endangerment.

Durazzo was held in lieu of a $1.5 million bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
