Man Swallows Crack Cocaine in Middletown: Police
The Middletown resident reportedly swallowed the drugs when police arrived at his door.

A 31-year-old Middletown man reportedly got scared when officers arrived at his 498 High St. home and tried to swallow a bag of crack cocaine, the Hartford Courant reported.
Angel Gonzalez wasn’t feeling well when officers entered the home. He reportedly threw up into a garbage can and the bag tested positive for containing crack cocaine.
Gonzalez was arrested on the following charges:

- Possession with intent to sell
- Risk of injury to a child (two counts)
- Controlled substance distribution within 1,500-feet of a school
- Possession of narcotics
He was issued an Oct. 21 court date.
