Man Told Child to Put Gun in Their Mouth: Middletown Police

The man made the request after the victim made several statements of wanting to kill himself. Police say the gun was unloaded and inoperable

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A Middletown man was arrested after police say he told a child to put an unloaded gun in their mouth.

Gary Krol, 48, of Pine Street, turned himself in at police headquarters on an active arrest warrant on Friday, Nov. 4.

During the incident, Krol held an unloaded gun in his hand and didn’t point it at the victim but asked the victim to put the gun in their mouth after the victim had made several statements of wanting to kill himself throughout the day, according to the police report.
