Man Who Bit Victim’s Lip Off Sought By Police: Middletown PD
Police are asking for assistance with locating the suspect in a domestic violence assault.
MIDDLETOWN, CT — Middletown Police are asking for the public’s assistance with locating a man wanted for a serious assault in a domestic violence incident. Justin Ryals, 32, is accused of attacking the victim, including biting the victim’s lower lip off, at the victim’s residence on Sept. 29, according to Lt. Heather Desmond.
Desmond said children were present during the incident and the victim had an active protective order against Ryals.
Ryals, 32, is described as a black male with brown eyes and black hair. He is 5-feet, 10-inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He is wanted on charges of first-degree assault, violation of a protective order, risk of injury to a minor, home invasion, and breach of peace. The arrest warrant has a set bond of $150,000 and Middletown Police are receiving assistance from the U.S. Marshalls in locating Ryals, according to Desmond.

Ryals has two vehicles registered to him, a red 2002 Dodge Caravan SE with CT Registration AG35332 and a white 2012 Chrysler 200LX with CT Registration 6AXPA7.
Ryals has connections in Middletown and Brooklyn, N.Y., according to Desmond.
