Meet the U.S. Coast Guard & Remember Our Veterans on May 23rd at 2pm!
Just in time for Memorial Day, Bob Carlson, Public Affairs Officer with the Coast Guard Auxiliary, will present an introduction about the many services the U.S. Coast Guard performs to protect our country so much more than preventing drugs from entering our country or rescuing boaters! A video and slide show will be presented, including pictures of last year’s Coast Guard graduation at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT.
Past and current members of ALL SERVICES, AND THEIR FAMILIES, are invited to help celebrate, remember, and honor those who served our country. And don’t forget to wear your red, white, and blue or your uniforms! FREE—This program was coordinated by Russell Library Older Adult Services.
