The ceremony was about honoring members of the military who were killed in service. Remarks at the event were made by Commissioner Ron Welch, Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal and Mayor Ben Florsheim. The ceremony was directed by Middletown's Ken McClellen.
