Mercy High School Maintains Top 10 Spot in Girls Basketball Poll
Middletown fell out of the top 10 but still received a considerable number of votes.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — For the first time in a very long while, a team other than Capital Prep sits atop the Connecticut high school girls basketball poll.
New London (10-0) assumed the top position in the latest weekly balloting, collecting eight first-place votes, while Capital Prep dropped to second.
Mercy High School held its position in the number six ranking, while Middletown dropped out of the top 10 but still received a considerable amount of support from voters.
