Mercy High School Makes Top 10 of Initial Girls Soccer Poll
The Tigers opened the 2018 season with four straight victories, allowing just one goal thus far.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Coming off a Class LL girls soccer state championship last season, the Ridgefield Tigers are out to retain that position by posting shutout victories in their first four games this season.
Ridgefield was the unanimous choice of coaches as the top team in Classes LL/L. Staples was second in the first week of voting, followed by Suffield.
Mercy High School, which emerged victorious in its first four outings, placed 10th in the initial balloting.

Granby Memorial High School was the leading votegetter among Classes M and S schools.
