Mercy High School Ranked in Top 10 in Latest Girls Basketball Poll
The Tigers opened the season with three wins in four outings; Middletown High School also received votes.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Capital Prep retained its stronghold on girls high school basketball in Connecticut, topping the weekly sportswriters' poll once again.
The Trailblazers, who have not lost an in-state regular season game since Dec. 15, 2011, opened this season with four straight victories.
Mercy High School was ranked in the number seven spot, while Middletown High School missed the top 10 but garnered some support from voters.
