Mercy High School Retains Top 10 Spot in Latest Girls Basketball Poll
Middletown High School just missed the top 10 in the most recent balloting.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — For the second straight week, New London topped the Connecticut high school girls basketball poll, while the state's other two undefeated teams each moved up a spot in the rankings.
New London (13-0) received 11 of 15 first-place votes in the most recent balloting by members of the Connecticut sports media.
Mercy High School (10-2) remained in the number six position in the current poll, while Middletown High School (12-1) just missed the top 10, ranking 11th.
