The Middlesex Historical Society Now Has An Outdoor Garden
It Will Be Having A Grand Opening Thursday August 1st

The Middlesex County Historical Society is so excited to announce the Grand Opening of our innovative, new OUTDOOR MUSEUM!
After many years of discovering and salvaging local architectural objects of historic value...
Many saved from the dumpster by YOU, the people who care about Middletown's past...
And after two years of planning...We are ready for the great reveal!
We are so excited about this new museum that we will be hosting the most fabulous summer garden party and guided walking tour of the outdoor museum. This will be the not-to-miss event of the summer!
When: Thursday, August 1, 2024
Time: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Where: The General Mansfield House Garden (backyard),
151 Main Street, Middletown, Connecticut.
Food and beverages will be served, including appetizers, desserts, soft drinks and even a few "hard drinks" (gasp!).
Seriously folks, we are in the mood to celebrate and show off our house, gardens and collection. Tickets are only $20 for Members and $25 for Friends. Come and be amazed, amused and appreciated.
Click on "REGISTER NOW" (below) to purchase your tickets.
This is a rain or shine event; The Farmers' Almanac says the weather is going to be "ideal". However, if it is raining, bring an umbrella and your "slicker" and we will tell you the best stories of Middletown...in the rain. We promise even rain cannot dampen our joy.
