Middletown City Worker Tests Positive For Coronavirus: Report
The person was the first city employee to test positive for the coronavirus, according to a report.
MIDDLETOWN, CT — A Middletown city employee recently tested positive for the coronavirus, according to the Middletown Press.
Mayor Ben Florsheim told the Press the person, who doesn’t work in City Hall and has limited contact with the public, was placed in isolation and is doing well. The person was the first city worker to test positive for the virus.
Health officials are conducting contact tracing to make sure no one else was exposed to the virus, including co-workers, and everyone who took coronavirus tests received negative results, according to the Press.
