Middletown Cops: Slow Down And Be Aware Of Pedestrians In Summer
Middletown police are paying extra attention to pedestrian safety in the warmer months, particularly downtown.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Middletown police have sent a summertime message to those driving in town — "slow down and obey signs and signals posted in our city."
More walkers are out in the warmer months, particularly in and around Main Street, they said.
"Now that summer has arrived, there is a significant increase in pedestrian traffic, children out and about, summer camps taking place at our schools and parks, and individuals enjoying our downtown area," police said.
