Middletown Election Results 2022: Vote Totals For Every Race

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Middletown voters went to the polls Tuesday to cast votes in state and federal elections. Below are the unofficial vote totals from each race according to the Secretary of the State’s Office.

In Connecticut, Gov. Ned Lamont won re-election as did U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal, and Democrats swept the top state offices including: Secretary of State, Stephanie Thomas, Treasurer, Erick Russell, Comptroller, Sean Scanlon, and Attorney General William Tong.

On the Congressional level, four Democratic incumbents, Rosa L. DeLauro, Jim Himes, Joe Courtney, John Larson, rolled to victory, while incumbent Democrat Jahana Hayes declared victory Wednesday night over Republican challenger George Logan in the hotly contested 5th district race.

Locally, incumbent Democrat Matt Lesser won re-election by defeating Republican challenger Lisa Marotta in the 9th Senatorial District. Democrat Jan Hochadel defeated Republican Joseph Vollano in the 13th Senatorial District.

In the 33rd House District, incumbent Democrat Brandon Chafee fended off a challenge from Republican Quatina Frazer.
