Middletown Family Featured on ‘Going RV’ TV Series
The GAC Network's show follows the family as they shop for their ideal RV for food allergy friendly vacations for their daughter.

Middletown, CT — A Middletown family is featured on an episode of this season’s “Going RV” on the Great American Country Network.
Jerome Braga, a former Wallingford resident, and his wife Jennifer and daughters Shayla, 5, and Leighton, 7, were on an episode that made its debut this week and was filmed over a three-day period in Shelburne, Vermont, late last year, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The show, which has been described as similar to HGTV’s House Hunters but with RVs, follows the family as they shop for and decide on their ideal RV.

Their story specifically focuses on the needs they have for a larger kitchen and cooking space because Shayla suffers from severe food allergies and cooking in the RV is the safest way to prepare her meals while the family explores the country, according to the Record-Journal.

Family Needs RV with Bigger and Better Kitchen for Allergy-Friendly Vacations
When vacationing, the Bragas need to take their kitchen with them, due to their daughter's food allergies. As they prepare to migrate away from the harsh Connecticut winter, they decide it's time to upgrade from their current travel trailer to a fifth-wheel. With two growing daughters and a necessity to work from the road, not just any coach will do for these snowbirds.
The episode aired on Wednesday night, but it is scheduled to re-run at the following times (so get your DVR ready):

Braga documents the family’s travels on his blog Our One Chanceand he told the Record-Journal that being a part of the show has gotten them a lot of media connections in the RV world and they are now bloggers for the national website GoRV.com.
