Middletown Firefighters Thank Community for Successful Holiday Program

This year's Adopt-a-Family program came together with the help of the Middletown community.

Last night, members of Local 1073 and their families, along with South Fire District Firefighters Local 3918 and Westfield Fire Department, participated in this year’s Adopt-a-Family program. The program helps deliver gifts and other items to needy families throughout Middletown.

Many thanks go out to Middletown Police Department for providing traffic control, the Middletown Elks Lodge for the use of their facilities and food, and the many other volunteers who donated their time and energy.

Middletown Firefighters Local 1073 would like to give special recognition to three local businesses whose generous donations were instrumental in making this year’s program a success: Matty’s Next Door Sports Bar, Jerry’s Pizza, and Jukonski Truck Sales. Each of these businesses and their owners understand what it means to give back to their community, and we are truly grateful to have partnered with them this year. Without their help, the program would not have been nearly as successful!
