Middletown High School Names New Softball Coach
The school didn't have to look far for its new coach.
MIDDLETOWN, CT — Middletown High School football coach Sal Morello has been named the school’s new softball coach, according to GameTimeCT.com.
Jim Bransfield of GameTimeCT reports Morello replaces Scott Ahlers, who wasn’t retained after all of the coaching positions were posted for when the Middletown Federation of Teachers contract with the Board of Education was renewed this summer.
Morello, who also had to reapply for his football post, is also a physical education teacher at the school.
