Middletown 'Holiday on Main' Event for Saturday Cancelled

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Organizers of Middletown's "Holiday on Main" have cancelled the final event, scheduled to Saturday, Dec. 17, due to the expected inclement weather throughout much of the day.

“Weekend Holiday On Main activities are an important part of the month-long Holiday On Main Street, however, ultimately, due to the predicted inclement weather we decided to cancel the last Saturday of the event for the safety of our visitors and our vendors,” said Event Chairman Al Santostefano in a statement.

All activities, which were scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., including the horse and wagon rides, fun trains, and holiday story time have been canceled.
