Middletown Homicide Suspect Captured In Georgia: Police
A man wanted in connection with the killing of a woman in Middletown on Monday was taken into custody Wednesday in Georgia, police said.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — The man wanted in connection with the killing of a woman in Middletown on Monday was found in Georgia on Wednesday, according to police. William Bigaud was taken into custody by authorities in Georgia after a traffic stop on I-85, according to Middletown Lt. Heather Desmond.
Desmond said Lt. Nathan Taylor of Troop County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia initiated the traffic stop and took Bigaud into custody. Bigaud is a suspect in the fatal stabbing of a woman on Green Street in Middletown on Monday.
Middletown police hold an active extraditable arrest warrant for Bigaud for murder, home invasion, reckless endangerment and risk of injury to a minor, according to Desmond.
