A Hartford jury awarded a Marlborough woman just over six million dollars for injuries suffered in a head-on collision. The jury deliberated for a day and a half before their verdict was read in court on Wednesday. Mrs. Arbucci was awarded one million fifty thousand dollars for past and future medical expenses and five million dollars for her past and future pain and suffering. Her daughter was awarded two hundred forty thousand dollars for past and future medical expenses and one million eight hundred sixty thousand dollars for past and future pain and suffering. Deborah Arbucci was represented by Attorney Christopher Flood of the Flood Law Firm in Middletown. Deanna Arbucci was represented by Attorney Tom Cella. The insurance company for the defendants never offered anything close to fair compensation for this family and we needed a jury to decide the case.
