Middletown Makes Decision On School For Wednesday

Another nor'easter is expected to have significant impacts on the area today.

Middletown Public Schools will have an early dismissal on Wednesday, March 21, due to inclement weather. Middletown High School will dismiss at 11 a.m., Woodrow Wilson and Keigwin Middle Schools will dismiss at 12 noon and Elementary Schools will dismiss at 1 p.m.

A nor'easter is expected to bring up to a foot of snow to the area today. The snow should be at its heaviest this afternoon and evening before it tapers off around midnight.

This is the fourth straight nor'easter Connecticut has seen over the past month. Power outages are expected to be less of a concern this time because while winds may gust to 30-35 mph at times, it won't approach the strength of previous storms.
